    Why? They are laughed at as a company but they make more durable better products then most others and are priced accordingly. Maybe the stuck up DD, BCM (which are great)AR community will point and ridicule but if its made right then it's just like every other lower on the market.

    My bolding. Kind of a redundant question when you answer it in the next breath.

    I wouldn't laugh at someone with a Tapco lower, or any lower really, but my friends would give me an earful. I'm sure it's a fine forged lower, made under variance by someone very competent, also sending them out the door with other names on them we embrace, but branding is everything, and won't be sending in a Form 1 with Tapco on it any time soon.
