I may be wrong, but my sense is 'ships free' is usually accompanied by a higher purchase price, coming pretty close to same over-all cost.

I've noticed 'sale price' on a particular brand of rifle scope is the same sale price on every vendor's site. Kind of a marketing gimmick.

Pricey goods usually have an 'MSRP', which is sky high over what they need to sell it at and still make a buck just so they can 'reduce' the price a little for us.

JSD had the base slides in black. No frills though.

Thats what i was looking at. Prob catch them at the next local show and buy one...the Patmos Judah slide looks ok...

CTS/p80glocks.com had nice odg cerakote ones with flush cut/crowned barrels at the show today for $280 complete...but i dont want a flashy gold TiN barrel or RMR cut...and i want to build my own slide since i have half the parts leftover from the g17

It*s not guns or ammo but these WIFI/battery/solar/USB cameras are pretty good. About $60 delivered refurbs. And they use mini SD cards. They can be set up then placed anywhere and will work without WIFI.
