Just a heads up Freedom Munitions on their facebook page claims they are very close to be able to start selling ammo again. I guess they are finally getting caught back up.

Walmart TulAmmo still seems to be the cheapest price, at least for 9mm and 40S&W, especially once you add in for shipping from online places.

I am trying to contact Bitterroot Valley Ammo, (BVAC) I bought 1000 rounds of 40 from them some time ago, was good ammo. They allow direct orders and they have some manufactured 9mm in stock now, but they have no prices listed on their website, order forms must be filled out, and your ID faxed to them, but once you are on record with them, you are good to go for all future purchases. I know their shipping is $30 for 1,000 rounds Montana to SW PA.

The old ones like I have (mine's a Pony in DAO) were selling for well over $700 because they had stopped making them years ago.

For anyone who has never heard of this retailer, I can vouch for them being legit. I've placed two or three orders with them for mags and accessories and have been pleased. Their shipping was fair.

I ordered a 1,000rds of 40s&w Jan 6th and I just received an email that it shipped on the 18th. Seems like things are smoothing out.

Correction my math was off but the below is true...

Either way I believe the actual spec. of the projectile is .224"

The chamber pressure has to do with with the amount of powder and case length. I'm not up to par on the exact differences between them but the 5.56 has greater pressure than a .223.

Stopped in at Dicks in Langhorne and inquired about the availability of .223. Was helped by the rudest old guy behind the counter and was told that they "had it yesterday but none now. Come back on Friday". He looked through me and his voice was full of contempt. I know...what should I expect at Dicks....

I saw the post earlier stating that they had G19 mags, so I went to look, but decided to get some ammo instead.

I ordered on THURSDAY the 17th at noon and it was just now DELIVERED!
It's 2pm on SATURDAY!

The website indicated it could be WEEKS before it shipped!

As much as it pains me to say this, the dicks in cranberry actually has a hell of a guy behind the gun counter. If you give him your name and number he will call you when the ammo shipments come in and even hold it for a couple days with your name on it.
