Rolled pennies if you wanna keep your money.

Go to tire shops and buy old lead wheel weights.
After winter you cant smelt and load and refill those containers with fresh handloads.

Gander muncy nearlywiped out. Some shotguns and few deer rifles and handguns left. Clothes, ammo and accessories mostly gone. Some holsters left especially for glock. Lots of fishing hooks and lures left

i found that the white gravel at homedepot is the cheapest bagged material and works for traction when needed.
it doesn't spread as far as sand though, but doesn't spill as easily either.

depending on where you are putting your ballast, look for truck rotors or an 80lb bag of concrete will fill a 5gal bucket. you will not be able to use the handle much so set a eyeloop or U bracket into it to function as one when it cures.

maybe just stick two of those into the side of an 80lb bag and let it air cure for the mostest cheapest.

    FYI:
Ammo at Pgh Mills Walmart is NOT marked down at all. A few empty spots.

Didn't see any markdown signs at Greensburg store, but their shelves were mostly empty.

For all you folks who have S&W shields or are taking advantage of the current rebate and adding one to the stable, there is currently good pricing on 8 round mags on eBay. Currently at $14.94/14.95 from several sellers. They were running $ 16.95 last week or so, then one vendor went to $15.95 so the other came back with $14.94 and the other is matching it. Includes free shipping at that. eBay will collect 6% PA sales tax.

I went to a few municipal yards around me and asked if they had any snow chains that were busted up and no longer wanted...found one place that had several 5 gallon buckets full of chain...took it all. I use it in the back of my F250 as weight...7 buckets is enough for what I need...heavy as hell.
