Just stopped at Brownsville walmart and they had some 7.62x54R and .380 left that I bought. Still a bunch of 45acp, .40, and .38 spl there.

Back in 2012 when the shelves were emptying out of all the popular rounds I noticed a bunch of .40 sitting on the shelf. That's when I purchased my first .40 caliber pistol (now have a couple). Guess I might run to our local Wally's and see what's available. Hopefully whatever .40 they have will be on sale

I almost did that, picked up a .40 version of the P30. I did some quick math and figured out that I'd have to shoot several thousands (well over 10k iirc?) of rounds of "cheaper" (at the time) .40 ammo to break even on the additional cost of another firearm. The Great Obama Shortages didn't last long enough and I don't shoot enough in a short enough time frame to make it economically viable, and prices stabilized and are now currently at some of the cheapest I've ever seen since I started shooting in 2009.

I was in Walmart yesterday and didn't know about it!

    Thanks for the heads up!

    I'll check today.

Can't take the onslaught of emails any more.
Unsubscribing from the junk-peddlers Davidson Defense and Delta Team Tactical.
(Don't think I got on the Omegawhatever mailing list - all three are the same people)

I'm always looking for "cheap", but that no-name stuff they try to push as "quality" is just so horrendous.
Then they throw up a MFT Minimalist stock as a "daily deal" for $48 when everyone else sells them for $39 or less on sale.
    Unsubscribe.

    End rant.

    two words:

    binary
    trigger

as in, it needs one. (looks like it'd take two)
