I did not know they updated the TR-25. The ones I have have been solid but I really don't abuse them.

I have an older model and it's been running strong for almost a decade now, I went to buy a 2nd a year or so ago and see the price was up to around $65.00 and the reviews were not great. Many people stated they were like me had one that was great wanted another and it was unreliable.

I the logo and the housing was a bit different on the newer ones if I remember correctly.

Yeah something like white lettering vs yellow lettering. With the Romeos readily had at $99 or close to it, I don't think the TR-25 is relevant anymore.

Correct on both statements. With a $99.00 Romeo there isnít much reason to look at anything else.

Well Unless all you have is $98.00.

Functionally, they are the same level of technology - turn the dial to turn it on or off. That's it.

There were several torture tests posted on Youtube years back and the Primary Arms micro red dot did pretty well for a Chinese red dot.

The dot isn't a tiny 2 MOA like most now boast, but if using at defensive distances, a larger dot is just fine - if not desirable.

The Romeo is literally the modern equivalent of the Primary Arms/Bushmaster red dot in that it has come down in price and provides an affordable option for most people.
The Romeo is a better choice - unless the features it has are not worth the extra $50 to you.

I had planned on getting a Romeo 5, but I spent my money on other things, so I either buy a $50 red dot or I wait.

I say wait for the price difference quality and warranty it's tough to beat the romeo....not impossible but tough. Swampfox has a new one called the liberator after code it's a little more than the romeo (Coupon code is wls15 for 25% off seems to be the constant for those who know lol) your still about $113.00 for that although they have one with a green target circle vs the dot and another with a red target vs a dot so you have those options. I have a Romeo 5 and A Romeo 4 love them and worth every penny.

if your curious about the swamp fox here (and again 25% off code wls15) .... but they are usually a little less at optics planet.

    ^^^

The main problem with most 9mm AR's is the blowback design. Weight is used in lieu of an improved mechanical design, leaving customers stuck with ridiculously heavy 9mm AR's and heavy recoil in a caliber that should have almost no recoil whatsoever.

Enter our NEW 9mm AR. Using CMMG's proven Radial Delayed Design from their Banshee series, we are able to offer a gun at an economical price point without the additional weight and recoil...

    Stop being a homo.

    LOL!
