Anyone know of a decent very affordable rear only back up iron sight? I want to finish off an AR pistol build and since there is a A2 front sight it's going to need a flip up rear sight to balance it out.

I am tired of buying the $60.00 magpul set's only to use the rear, leaving me with a pile of fronts. Just buying the rear runs about $42.00 with is nuts.

Do you want BACK UP iron sight to keep flipped down used with a red dot, or would a fixed rear sight work?

UTG has a nice fixed sight set.
They also have some flip up BUIS, but I haven't looked into thise yet.

I am leaning towards a flip up right now.

Many pages back, EM posted a deal for a $10ish set of polymer flip up sights. I bought them because they were so cheap but I like them and plan on using them.

Yes, those cheap flip ups are on my new 7.62x39 pistol until I decide what I'm doing. They're not half bad. Not Magpul by a long shot, but workable.

I couldn't order until I got home and then I got busy and forgot until now, but I FINALLY (I think this was my 3rd or 4th attempt now) got one at this amazingly low price before they sold out!

Shipping for the VG6 was $7
Shipping for the VG6 and LPK was $8.75
Pretty absurd considering the size/weight of the items, but the sale prices are so good it still would have been a deal if shipping was $10

Since I saved so much, I also grabbed an Aero Precision LPK minus trigger group, trigger guard, and grip for the super good price of $18.99!!!

Never a bad idea to have a lower parts kit on hand. This is a better deal than most mystery/no name lower parts kits.
