One thing the BCA has going for it is that it's already assembled, so there's that too!
They have some really great prices on some decent uppers in all sorts of configurations/calibers.

That particular one is very ugly. They seem to use a lot of heavy barrels on their uppers. I see a lot of reports of excellent accuracy out of their barrels. If I was going to build a big bore upper in .458 or something like that I would probably go with one of their uppers.

Have you ever tried an MFT Minimalist stock?
I'm a fan - I have three equipped with them now. I always hated the way the MOE stocks (I have two with MOE) are as loose as the plain M4 stocks.
Someone hooked me up with a Minimalist stock and I was shocked at how solid they are.
The looks aren't for everyone though. Doesn't bother me - I actually prefer the missing angled "reinforcement" because you can tuck it closer to your body when holding it. Hard to explain, but anyway, I like them a lot.

Good price. Good comp/brake that looks good too.
Works well on my wife's lightweight build.
They make many versions including a slim that is sized for pencil barrels. I plan to get one for my pencil barrel gun.

I've only mocked mine up "hand tight" just to see what it will look like. I like it!
I am blown away by how LIGHT it is.
My other 7.5" pistol has a heavy barrel and a PWS CQB muzzle device, and an Aero Precision Quantum hand guard - none of which are light.
HUUUUGE difference.

Like I mentioned before - this "cheap" Combat Armory hand guard is finished better than the PSA hand guard I got not long ago.
I don't feel like I sacrificed anything by getting this for $99 shipped.

Note: I doubt that Combat Armory is making their own hand guards. I'm 99.9% certain that Davidson Defense uses the exact same one on one of their uppers.
