    LOL!

I should have checked the in stock quantity when I first looked - that would have given me the incentive to move quickly if I had seen less than 200 in stock.

At AIM, you can enter a "huge number" in the quantity/cart and it will say "we're sorry, but there are only X, XXX available"

Anyone looking for a slick side upper can take advantage of this, or not...

The two affordable options I've found while doing builds are:

Anderson - no forward assist an no provision for adding a dust cover - AIM carries these for $40

Aero Precision - no forward assist but HAS a dust cover - I've seen this sold without a dust cover and sold with a dust cover already installed.
Best price I can find are from these two places:
    www.righttobear.com $54.95 + $8.00 shipping = $62.95
    www.masdefense.com $54.99 + $4.99 shipping = $59.98
The most common price I find these for is $79 + shipping, so this is a good price.

I've used both of these without issue and ultimately it boils down to whether you want a dust cover or not, and if you think the extra $15 is worth it to have one.

Keep in mind the Aero has T markings while the Anderson doesn’t.

Indeed it does - usually about a $10 bump in price vs one without.

I just ordered the Aero upper. The next pistol has begun.
I added a MFT Minimalist stock/buffer tube kit combo because it was a great price, AND by doing so, it gave me free shipping. (I wanted the MFT stock for a carbine I own)
I don't CURRENTLY need the buffer tube kit, but by getting the combo it was like getting that for $24 AND it removed the $10 in shipping.
I can put that tube kit to use at a later date - or easily sell it for what I paid for it.

I wasn't going to do it, but I recently picked up some extra jobs that cover the cost, and those slick side uppers don't go on sale as often as standard uppers.

are T markings really all that important? I mean how often are people (re)moving their rail attached gear, especially sights/optics?
