I'm probably looking at reloads or wolf. Surplus pretty much. But hey, as long as it goes bang that's all that matters. It's for an AR pistol, so its not like I need 500yard accuracy

My mistake I thought you were speaking about 9mm not .223 ammo. I will keep an eye out. SG ammo had a few steel cased options for under $200.00 per 1K.

Target Sports USA is about the cheapest I've found. I just order 1000 rounds of Federal 147 grain subsonic for $189.80 shipped, then there's a $20 rebate. 124 and 115 are even cheaper.
