There is a remote chance that one way Dems will control guns is by restricting ammo sales, meaning you have to buy through an FFL and/or pass a background check to be able to buy. Now this is not remotely possible right now, but it is feasible in California, and if Dems win midterms, it might gain momentum. It's an end run around the 2nd amendment. Might get shot down (so to speak) in the SCOTUS, but it might also take a while to get there, and by then, who knows who holds the majority. Dems have momentum going into the midterm elections.

Anyhow, bottom line, ammo is cheap now. It could be expensive and a huge hassle in a couple years.

Only downside to that is, just how much can you afford, and store. I'm not at the physical limit, but I am getting kinda close to the "sanity" limit.
That being said, another Federal 9mm ammo deal/rebate offering and I'll pick up more of that... or if CCI 5201 gets a little cheaper.
