Re: Share Deals on Guns Ammo Accessories Here
Good price. I wonder who makes it.
I hate buying mystery parts, but for the price, it may be worth a try because 9mm mag blocks can be expensive.
Still can't believe I got mine from PSA for $30 on clearance. Never had an issue feeding it.
Mine was a top-insert and the bolt catch needed removed to insert it. They typically come in two types - top-insert and bottom-insert. I don't know that one is better than the other - just "different".I called to check my ZIP CODE!....DY-NO-MITE!!!

Re: Share Deals on Guns Ammo Accessories Here
There are actually at least 3 main types of non-pinned 9mm blocks for ARs that use the colt mags: top loading w/o removing bolt release, top loading that requires removing bolt release, and bottom loading. The Hahn top loading block that requires removing the bolt release is pretty darn reliable and still trips the bolt catch with the colt mags. The top loader that doesn't require removal of the bolt catch also works well, but won't lock the bolt on empty. The bottom loaders can be tricky to keep aligned and can crack the lower if overtightened, but are convenient if you want to swap calibers in your lower.
It all depends what features are important to you: reliability, flexibility, complete functionality... choose 2.
Edit: that's not to say the bottom loaders don't work- just that they can sometimes be a bit finicky. YMMV.Last edited by buckengr; April 9th, 2018 at 11:33 PM.

Re: Share Deals on Guns Ammo Accessories Here
Can get 45acp down to 21¢/rd with rebate, maybe lower if they take 25% off the price before the $10 discount for "spring10" code. Ordered a bunch. $50 limit on rebate.
