9mm is one of the few cartridges you can argue is not worth reloading. I cast my own bullets (taking even more time) and I can reload for 6 cents a round. But even then it is difficult to work up a good load that doesn't lead badly. I do it anyway but always wonder if I am wasting my time. A 45 is another story, same 6-7 cents a round and full power loads are easy and accurate.

When you get to a 45 Colt load its a no brainer. About 7-8 cents for a cast cowboy load that would cost you a dollar. About 15 cents for a heavy cast load that can equal or exceed Buffalo bore at $2 a shot.

after the reloading and other derailments im sure it's fine. (insert obligatory "search the forum" comment here) but i'd start with an aluminum lower or at least a poly with a brass or otherwise metal buffer tube thread.
buffer tube and springs, completed upper and stock, arm brace or sponge to cover tube.
drill and magazine, ammo. and im sure someone who has completed a build will chime in with more.
i'm waiting on parts for a pistol build and i only know what i've memorized from charts, instructions, manuals including TM-9-1005-249-10 (iirc) and studying my carbine.

on the other hand, has anyone had first hand experience with a broken poly lower? i have a hatred of plastic threads on anything.

Let's hope that since they've been around awhile that any weakness in the design has been revised.
I search "broken poly lower" and only came up with a few examples of failure.
I guess I'll find out soon enough because I couldn't help but add it to my cart last night.

Says free shipping on 10+ but I added one to my cart and it came up as free. Good deal.
