Yea, I realized a little bit ago the card won't make it before the rebate expires.
That being said, I'm pretty sure other such rebates are in store for the future. Someone (here? maybe?) mentioned that after the Q1 numbers are all crunched there's a good chance lots of manufacturers/dealers are going to want/need to blow out stocks that were in preparation for the great Hitlerly run of 2017, that didn't happen. So a couple gift cards now could pay dividends later on. I did something similar with gander mountain cards, but they were e-cards.
