This is a really good price.
I wanted to get this back on Black Friday, but didn't have the money.
Sort of glad because I am building one to my own specs now, but for a basic rifle that's ready to go, this is worth considering.

If I wasn't already in the process of building an AR for my dad, I would probably jump on this. I've really been wanting one.. Overall, looks like decent reviews, but I'm still a little skeptical on them in the long run. Looks like some people still are having issues with ftf/fte, which I understand with steel cased, as they clearly state as well... I just want a smooth running rifle and I'm just skeptical yet.. :-/

Has anyone here built one of those lowers and actually ran some rounds through it, like more than a thousand rounds?

I have everything to build one as far as parts, but don't these lack the steel guide rails?
That's why I've never tried one.

if/when I finally build one (and I do plan on it) i'll shot the block right out of it to see. I'd be curious as well to know how far I can push it. I won't be doing any stupid mud or sand dunkings; I'll just shoot it lots, clean it as often as I clean any gun, and report the results. In reality i'd expect that, if the frame polymer is of comparable strength as any other, and there's no obvious casting or manufacturing defects (aka, I screwed up), then given every other piece (except the locking block) is all Block brand Block, it should run like any other Block 17.

That's the rifle I used for a 45 ACP conversion that uses a new barrel and a mag well adapter to use 1911 mags. Fun fun!
