I dont think alot of you internet warriors are ubderstanding..
I truley believe by looking at some of these posts and people sitting back waiting for it to blow over truly do NOT comprehend the true evil nature of this bill and what will happen if it passes! Quit looking at gun porn and watch this, write, call, every little voice helps!

Personally, I'm not waiting for this to blow over. I'm doing everything I can while still working 12 hours a day, 1000 miles from home. However, over the last 4 years, this 'government' has stated time and time again that they will do 'whatever it takes'. Despite my efforts, I truly, and I mean truly, believe this will be passed. The more horrifying part to me, I also believe that partisan dissent in the court system will prevent its repeal. What does that leave us? We all know the answer,... the inevitable response, predicted by the very men whose legacy we are going to be forced to defend.

I also think anyone out there that still has faith in the judicial system is just fooling themselves. Take Obama Care, Obama said many times 'this is not a new tax, this is a penalty'. The Supreme.Court, in its affirmation, said 'it is a tax'. The meaning has become clear, El Presidente is running the show with the help of the new propaganda machine, the mainstream media.

This thread almost borders on trolling. It's one thing to add a snide "told ya so" in discussions about the current attacks on our rights, it's another to call out our membership and accuse them of not doing enough.
While I admit that we've left our guard down the last few years, I don't think there are many gun owners on this site who aren't acutely aware of the dangers we're facing at the moment.
Right now we need unity and positivity in our community, not name-calling and guilt trips. The anti's do that to us enough already.Safety is a good tool for tyrants; no one can be against safety.

Agreed, I know recent events got me to Faxing and E-Mailing my elected officials for the first time in my life. I even joined the NRA. Seriously, this defeatism is doing more damage than good. If I listened to these guys I would say "Fuck it, I am going to lose my rights either way so why try to stop it? I am just wasting my energy".

Has anyone here, as our Founders would, simply decided that they will absolutely not give up their guns no matter what? Is it that unique of a decision? There's a lot of talk.
