Exclamation Call Senator Casey today (AWB)

I just spoke to Senator Casey's staff and was told he is considering voting for an "assault weapon" ban and a "high capacity" magazine ban.

I informed them that the current bans being proposed will not work for the majority of firearms owners because of technical inaccuracies and very broad wording.

My sense is that more people need to call with the same type of arguments, preferably today.

I have not been able to reach Senator Toomey's people.

Casey votes liberal every chance he gets. You should have voted him out.

    Done.

I enjoy calling and leaving messages or talking to the staff. The best part is hearing them type "Vote no on new gun control or you will be voted out of office."

Update: I managed to get a hold of one of Toomey's people, she did not give me any real information on where he stands because the full text of Feinstein's proposal is not out yet, but reminded me that he has been a friend to 2A for a long time and that she was happy to let him know that I wanted him to oppose anything Feinstein proposes.

    Senator Toomey's number in D.C. is: 202-224-4254
