Re: List of Shops Around Pittsburgh
The link at the top of the page with the map is dead - is there a new one, or should I toss the shops onto a map again?

Re: List of Shops Around Pittsburgh
My contribution. I don't buy guns/ammo off the internet
Bouldins - 5/5 - friendly, good prices
Ace - 4.5/5 - huge selection, decent prices
Johnsons Gun Depot - 4/5 - decent selection, friendly
A&S - 4.5/5 - small selection, but a nice range and good staff
Markls - 5/5 - great deals on LE stuff, nice staff
Gander Mountain in Greensburg is a 1/5 - high prices, unknowledgable staff
Anthony Arms is a 1/5 - good selection, horrible service, high pricesLast edited by Nicoli06; October 18th, 2012 at 01:30 PM.

Re: List of Shops Around Pittsburgh
Just yesterday, an "in stock" replacement magazine for a Glenfield Mdl 25 pre-N drew me to Bouldins for my first visit. My previous misconception would be that of a FUDD Shop but with atleast 8-10 AR/AK(s) and two 6' x 3 tier handgun filled displays, I now stand corrected.
I did do a Bouldins vs. The Net price comparison on an in store GSG 1911, they're competitive, plus the added bonus of an old world gunshop ambience.Last edited by jacassc; October 19th, 2012 at 12:33 PM.

Re: List of Shops Around Pittsburgh
I've been absent from this forum for a few years! Found my way back via this thread when trying search for an FFL dealer. I'm trying to locate the source code for the map. Will update link as soon as I can find it!

Re: List of Shops Around Pittsburgh
Now that's funny.
Welcome back! LOVE this thread!
It will be especially useful now with so many places being out of stock on merchandise. This helps people find alternatives they may not have been aware of.
I wish I had remembered to look up this thread this morning before I placed an online order. The few shops I could think of off the top of my head were out of stock. I'm sure I could have found the item at another shop if I had consulted this list!I called to check my ZIP CODE!....DY-NO-MITE!!!

Re: List of Shops Around Pittsburgh
Thanks! Glad to be back. Funny... the main reason for my absence was I couldn't afford to burn ammo with the escalating prices. Visiting this thread was a kick in the junk, so I had to go cold turkey. With recent events, I'm revisiting my wishlist before it becomes a banlist
