Laser or Lights for glock
Im looking for either a laser, light or combo. Anyone have any suggestions for a glock 19?

I'd be interested in this as well, as I just picked up a 17 recently.

Re: Laser or Lights for glock
It's going to be used primarily for home defense, maybe some range time to.I get use to the weight. Which one is good, which ones should I avoid at all cost

^^What he said. I got the front activation model but I had to alter it because it covered too much of the finger groove.
This is after cutting it down:
Edited to elaborate. I chose the Crimson Trace because of the fact that the laser is set back by the rear sights. The guide rod lasers have a tendency to get fouled up very quickly since the diode is directly under the muzzle.Last edited by CHEMICAL; January 1st, 2013 at 06:53 PM.

I suggest night sights. Couple them with a very bright LED flashlight. But, remember lights and lasers, like tracers work in BOTH directions!

Re: Laser or Lights for glock
I already have night sights, and I don't want to have both hands occupied as I go thru the house so I was thinking something under the rail so that I may open doors, call the cops, turn on lights and turn off the alarm and such

Not a big fan of lasers, they have a tendency to fail at just the wrong time.
I prefer night sites and a flashlight, weapon mounted lights are fine. But nothing more than 120 lumens for indoor use. My Glock 19 had one of these in the box when i bought it:

Not the brightest, but mounts up very solidly and seems very durable
