I got an email from Remington today...

"A new rifle from the masterminds who brought you the Model 700. Coming Soon."

Any speculations?

Got the same email. Interested to see what they are coming out with. Would be neat to see them reinvent the pump, but I have a feeling it's going to be an updated bolt action to replace the 770 to make it more competitive with rifles from marlin and savage.

Thought something similar. Get rid of the P.O.S. 770 and even super low end 700 SPL, and come out with a competitor to the Ruger American and the Savage Trophy Hunter. With that Nikon glass, you can't beat that Savage in terms of American-made value, in my opinion.

Upgraded Remington 7615 pump maybe? I have 7615 pump that I got from another member. Fun rifle. Should've sold better but they asked for too much money. A little less than an AR at the time, so really, why bother get a pump? Now it might be more feasible.
