With everything I've ordered in the last month, I don't have much leeway on spending at the moment, so I don't see myself getting any firearms, and especially not AR/AK types. I have mine - don't need one at current prices.

    Ammo cans I could use.
I just got two (50 cal?) with an online order that were only $12, but after factoring in shipping, they were closer to $15.

Anyone know if those are readily available and what the average price is?
(The Army/Navy near me wants $19 which seems really high)

Aside from that, random mags, and various calibers of ammo in small quantities is all I can think of that I'd be looking for.

My wife hinted that she may be interested in going (wait, WHAT?!), but I don't know that it would be an environment suited for her. She has back issues and I can't help but to imagine crammed aisles of fat dudes rudely bumping their way through. Being bumped around could aggravate her back and assholes injuring my wife would aggravate me.

There are usually 1 or 2 ammo can vendors there. The price depends on if they have used or brand new. I've seen the used ones go for $8-$10. New for $15-$20.

I have a bad back and hips. Walking sideways thru crowds sucks. This show will be packed I'd bet so maybe your wife should wait until the next show when there might be less traffic.tom.

As someone else asked, what is the carry policy? I know concealed means concealed, but I'd like to know what they would like patrons to do.

    Thanks.

Carry anyway you like... If for any reason it needs to come out keep it unloaded. As far as I'm aware they have no carry/anti carry policy.

Thanks! Couldn't assume, but it's nice to see a common sense gun show policy.

I OCd there once. They just make sure any firearms that are brought in to be sold or traded as you walk the show are unloaded and checked.

As for the crowds and having a hard time going through. I am still somewhat young and my hips hurt like hell after walking slow and side stepping through the 3 buildings.

    Couple questions and help needed:

I plan on bringing a Raven .25 pistol to sell/trade at this show. Are there 1.) people that can do the transfer (and what they charge), and 2.) Anyone have interest in this fine piece of hardware - lol (chrome, black grips, great shape, < 200 rounds through it)??

I also will be looking for the following and any guidance would be appreciated as I have not been to one of these shows in years.

Want to pick up some ammo for a recent Mosin Nagant purchase (7.62x54r) and would either like to get several boxes of different types to try or a reasonably priced spam can (dunhams has had them for $99).

Along with that, I need a new recoil pad for a browning a-5. Do I need to bring the old one or are there folks that can sell me one that will fit well?

    Thanks!

Vendors would be interested in what guns you have for sale. Of course you won't get nearly as much from them as you would from a private sale.
I'm pretty sure you will find several peope to do a transfer for you. Can't say for how much.

Usually a few dealers selling 7.62x54R. The Monroeville show has many of these dealers selling anything from 7.62x54R match ammo to old cheap ($89 a can) surplus.

Good luck on this one. IMHO, not a very good venue for recoil pads.

    Thanks!

Take the old one. And if you don't find one there (pretty good chance you won't) make the 5 minute trip to Ace after the show. They will be packed, and you won't get near any guns or sales guys without riot gear, but they have a giant selection of that sort of thing.
