Default PROTEST / MEET / WHATEVER

    LETS GET THE BALL ROLLING!

PLEASE KEEP IN MIND THAT WE ARE IN A STATE OF EMERGENCY (I THINK). THOSE WITHOUT AN LTCF BE WARNED.
    For those on PA2A http://www.pa2a.org/thread-protest-m...60909#pid60909
I will keep both topics updated on both forums.

OK lets start organizing a meet / protest / whatever.

I will update this first post with the information as it is decided.

Ok I am keeping both posts updated on both forums.

We need to have our voices heard! With the mass murderers on the rampage, the calls to restrict our rights are being drafted into legislation. I feel it is important that we get out and our voices are heard! With the recent proposed legislation against out rights, and how easily the anti-crowd seem to organize and get their voices heard I feel we should be doing the same. I have never organized an event or anything of the sort before so I am asking that anyone who can help please help!

FYI, CeasefirePA is planning a demonstration in Harrisburg on January 23, 2013. Please see the following link.

    Will we need a permit?
If we do how do we get one? Who will get it done?

What time? Ill get the google maps set up and I can offer rides from the local area. I can fit 3 regular sized people in my car.

    Weekends in January 2013

    Sun 6th
    Sat 12th
    Sun 13th
    Sat 19th
    Sun 20th

    We need a LOCATION!
-What I am thinking. An office of somebody to stage a protest or give out information/ informational flyers.
-Philadelphia / Capital DC possible? Anyone know of good spots?

    Questions?
    Will we need a permit?

I can provide transport for 3 adult sized people in my car from the 19057 area. Donations for gas would not be turned away.

PLEASE BRAINSTORM, I HAVE NEVER ORGANIZED ANYTHING LIKE THIS BEFORE AND ANY AND ALL HELP WOULD BE APPRECIATED!!!

Incidentally, here is the link to show the governor's proclamations:

I find it very interesting, that the governor's proclamation declaring a state of emergency has been REMOVED.

Perhaps I'm just having a blonde moment. A little help anybody?

Updated as a warning to everyone. Better to be safe than unsure.

Good info about the SOE. Considering that many of us are 300+ miles from the troubles, we are still restricted

It seems to me that during a SOE, citizens should be REQUESTED to openly arm themselves in public. After all, how better to quell a problem and keep/restore peace?

FYI. My Jan 23 comment was tongue in cheek due to the inauguration on the 21st in DC.

The country is watching to see if Pennsylvania falls under the pressure, then all the other states will follow, as will federal legislation. IMHO, in-state (Hbg?) would be better.

Home defense with a good foothold, then we can go national if we want.
