    Default Ospray45 or AAC tirant .45acp

    I'm thinking of get getting the one of the two .
    Which one is better .

    either or...flip a coin. I like the looks of the osprey so that would be my choice. Can't go wrong with either.

    I went with the Osprey,,,,, although, as I found out later, the Tirant is user "serviceable". Both have about identical sound reduction.

    That's what I like about the AAC tirant it can be serviced by myself .
    Osprey they have instock all the time .

    I already have a can sent in .

    Those are the two top rated cans for .45. Either will be good to go.
    The top two differences being the tirant is user serviceable so you could shoot .22lr thru it if you wanted to and I beleive most gun sights will clear the osprey because of its shape and it's mounting. I just went with the tirant myself but in 9mm. The biggest reason is that I can take it apart to clean it.

    I have the Tirant and I love that thing. Stupid quiet. The design of osprey sucks imo but who really cares if that thing works. I'd go with the Tirant anyday though.

    I have an Osprey and I love it, plus it won't roll off the table or bench when unmounted! I also have a bunch of pistons so I can shoot 9mm and 40 through it.

    Got my aac tirant paper sent on 1/30/13 check was cashed that weekend

    I have an swr octane 45 hd in the works right now, user servicable same mounts as the Osprey, and i dont have to deal with aac customer service if I have issues.
