Default My new .44 mag super blackhawk is HUGE

But I like it. I put some .44 specials through it tonight at the club, and was very surprised by it's accuracy. Came with hogue grips and a 7.5 barrel. I wonder what the .44 mags will feel like.

The hogue grips will help but it will be a handful. 185gr bullets more so than the heavier bullets. Mine has the hard plastic grips and unusually shoot no more than 18 rounds thru it at a time. But it's a blast to shoot, have a blackhawk in 357 mag that's a lot easier on the hands. Enjoy it and post some pics!

I have the REDHAWK with the 7.5 barrel and it shoots real good. I can hit gallon jugs at 100 yards with it.

I'm older, can't see that far to shot accurately. But I'm deadly at closer ranges!

I love my SBH. The .44s are not that bad. Because of the single action design, the barrel is "set high" above the grip and it tends to be "flippy", for a lack of a better term. Enjoy.

It shoots better than I do. It looks a little different than in that photo. I have added a set of thumb rest grips and an ultra dot match dot sight. I have been using it to shoot bullseye. With decent ammo, it shoots awesome.
