Mass Shootings, William Cooper, Conspiracies, and the 2A
Prior to 1989, there were only a handful of incidents in which two or more non-perpetrators were killed by firearms at a school, including the 1966 University of Texas massacre, the 1974 Olean High School shooting, the 1976 California State University, Fullerton massacre, and the 1979 Cleveland Elementary School shooting (the 1927 Bath School disaster was a bombing, not a shooting, with a firearm used only to detonate explosives), the most recent shooting was the Sandy Hook Elementary School shooting on December 14, 2012. From 1989 to 2012, there have been at least 40 such incidents.’

‘Behold A Pale Horse’ William Cooper 1990
Chapter 12: The Secret Government
The government encouraged the manufacture and importation of military firearms for criminal use. This was intended to foster a feeling of insecurity, which would lead the American people to voluntarily disarm themselves by passing laws against firearms. Using drugs and hypnosis on mental patients in a process called Orion, the CIA inculcated the desire in these people to open fire on schoolyards and thus inflame the antigun lobby. This plan is well under way, and so far is working perfectly. The middle class is begging the government to do away with the 2nd amendment.
Cooper knew things, there’s no denying it. On June 28th, 2001, two and a half months before the attack on the World Trade Center in NYC, William Cooper predicted 911 and named Osama Bin Laden as the patsy the ruling powers would blame it on.
So....thoughts?

Re: Mass Shootings, William Cooper, Conspiracies, and the 2A
It's more a perfect storm than anything:
-the increase in entitlement philosophy (I exist therefore I deserve to be thanked for existing)
-the acceptance of socialist social policy (I deserve to be treated the same as the star quarterback even though all I do is sit at home and play NFL video games)
-the saturation of mainstream media in everyday life
-the ideological castration of America (You're a male chauvinist pig if you fight the bully instead of popping psychoactive meds and opening a dialogue with the bully)
Taken all those together, we can only expect mass shootings when we create so many crime-welcome, er, "gun-free" areas like schools and shopping malls.Safety is a good tool for tyrants; no one can be against safety.

I recommend "Unintended Consequences" by John Ross. (Out of print, but poke around and you'll find a .pdf on the web)
Second recommendation "An Act of Self-defense" by Erne Lewis" about $4 as I recall on Amazon for Kindle or the free Kindle Reader App
Third, if you find you like the Genre, "Enemies Foreign and Domestic" by Matthew Bracken,
the first of a 3 book series, also on Amazon for Kindle or the free Kindle Reader App
If you find those 4 stimulating you can message me and I can recommend more.
