I had the itch to get a .22 rifle but didn't feel like spending more than $100 for it. I came across a Springfield 84C- .22LR at a Lock's Gun Shop here in Philly for $50 in pretty good condition. I took it to the range and put 100 rounds down range this afternoon and the thing shoots like a champ. Anyone know if/where I can get any parts for this? I'd like to put a scope on it but I'd have to drill and tap it. Are there any aftermarket stocks or rails I can put on this so I can scope it? I never thought I'd have so much fun with a 70+ year old .22 but, it's a ball.
