Senator Manchin, Defender of Gun Rights, Shifts His View
We're in for a storm to come, a lot of the pro-gun Congressmen are shifting their views.

Re: Senator Manchin, Defender of Gun Rights, Shifts His View
Some common sense gun legislation is not an issue. Such as how this guy mentions "“I don’t know anybody in the sporting or hunting arena that goes out with an assault rifle." That is very true, no one truly needs an assault rifle. But it is a moot point, considering assault rifles have been banned since 1986 (unless you go through the Class III hoops and spend upwards of $20,000 on a pre-ban automatic).
But his comment on clips is unnerving. I don't need a 30 round clip for hunting, but a 30 round clip does make it a lot easier to sight in a weapon for hunting.
I would have to wait and see where it goes with him and others. I, like many responsible gun owners, fully support common sense legislation. But a lot of the ideas being tossed around are far from common sense.

Its the nuts that handle the guns not the guns that handle the nuts..

I think a first logical step would be allowing disqualifying mental conditions to show up on FBI and NICS background checks for firearms.
I support private citizens owning anything and everything short of automatics, grenades, rocket launchers, tanks, and fighter jets. And maybe nuclear weapons too.

Such as...
- Veteran of US Military?
- Expressing concern about Freedom and The Constitution?
- Complaints about the Federal Government?
- Pro-2A tendencies?
- Ron Paul supporters?
- Disagreeing with Obamacare?
- Preferring to pay with cash rather than running up a credit card?
- Membership in potential extremist/terrorist associations such as the NRA, the Tea Party, The Libertarian Party, or the Republican Party?

Remind me again when the sole purpose of the 2nd A was for hunting, these fucks just don't get it.
I think we are gonna get royally screwed by the R's on this one, I have no faith in the system anymore, none, zero, fulking zilch.

Neither is "domestic violence." Nor "Cosmetics and Drug Act."
But all of the ones I listed are indicators of racism, violence, extremism, and potential terrorism.
You are acting as if new laws on the restriction of firearms will be "sensible" and not geared towards denying as many people as possible their rights. None of the existing ones are, and they have been less sensible in that respect the more recent the new restriction.
What percentage of the AMA do you think believes that firearm ownership is a public health crisis and usually an indication of paranoia?
Sorry. Our medical system is a political branch of the Communist Party. At least, the 20% or so (AMA) that are recognized by the government.

I know several people with bi polar. Alot of them are not a threat and never will be.
I also know people that have been misdiagnosed with bi polar. Don't blanket ban certain people.
We ban texting while driving yet people still are stupid and do it and die or kill others.
