Sen. Feinstein just announced on Meet the Press that on day one she will be introducing an assault weapons ban bill in both the house and senate.

"We'll be prepared to go, and I hope the nation will really help," Feinstein said on NBC's "Meet the Press."


Bloomberg was on there also, pushing for heavy gun control.

Normally I would agree with you, but I'm not sure if this will be the case this time. Every news story is putting "Assault rifle, Bushmaster, .223 semi-automatic rifle" ect ect, for the recent shooting. People are going to want to see something banned and a scary looking black rifle might be just the ticket.

Feinstein introducing a AWB does not concern me. She's a **** and proves it daily.

What does concern me are weak kneed Rino's like Boehner that will cave and give into some type of legislation.

No, but even if some vote for her bill, I don't feel it will be enough to have it pass. It may never even make it to the floor for a vote, so trusting the entire GOP caucus could be a moot point. There are also some Dems in the house that will vote against it should it get that far.
