Slip-on sleeve grips - Hogue or Pachmayr?

I want to do something with my LC9 because I think the grip is too thin for my hand. I was thinking about just slipping on one of those sleeve grip things and was wondering if they are really any good and if so is the Hogue better than the Pachmayr?

I have a Handall Jr. on a BG380 because it's small enough to fit and it gives a little more purchase on the grip. But I prefer Limbsavers, which I use on my Walther PPS and PPK. Your LC9 may be large enough for one to fit. Thicker and just a little sticky, which the Handall is not. I haven't tried the Pachys.

I was not aware of limbsaver - thanks I'll have to do more research on that - took a brief look but too tire right now.

I had a Hogue on my Kel Tec PF9, but didn't like the finger groove alignment. I switched to the Limbsaver Pro. It's a lot more comfortable.

For the LC9 you'll want the sub-compact version. I bought mine from Gander Mountain.

I like that A grip too. My concern with these grip tape things is catching on clothing - more worried about it pulling my shirt out as I walk - possibly grabbing the shirt and slowly walking the shirt out as you pace your stride. I did see some used Glock 27s with this grip tape stuff on and I must admit it does stick to your hand like glue.

But grip tape doesn't increase the circumference of the grip by any appreciable amount, which appeared to be your main requirement.

Actually the requirement is that I get a better purchase on it - whether that be by adding bulk to it like the Pachmayr's bulge or by uber-sticky material that grabs my skin.
