Default ATI 22 cal 1911 commander

Has anyone seen or fired the ATI GSG 22 cal 1911 with 3 1/2 inch barrel? I have a full size 1911 22 but for some reason, this commander size interstes me

If its the 922 you are thinking of , I just picked mine up from the FFL
I plan on breaking it down on Weds and do a clean and buff

I am amazed at the weight ( hefty). Think it has to do with the rail underneath

I will take pics and load them up for you to see. Much the same as the 1911 GI by GSG in build out

I will not be able to get to the range till Sat

What make is the 922, I'm not familiar. The ATI model is GSG-9

I am looking at the manual as I type this. The unit I received today is a

    [SIZE="5"]GSG9[SIZE]22

But the 22 part is in smaller font

This gun looks really nice..... I am impressed with the package as a whole
It has all the extra parts and tools. They learned well from the 1911 growing pains.

The piece comes with a removable rail that I most likely will do. If you want to carry, this will be a must as I can see how it will dig.

The gun came very dry and will need to be completely broken down and lubricated. I think I will do a quick buff on everything inspecting for sharp edges. I can feel them already with the slide of a finger.

It really feels good in the hands and again I am impressed.

By the way, this is not commander. It is more a sub compact.

Bud's NEVER had them I think ATI only received a small qty. When I was notified that Gallery had them in stock, they only had three (3).

Here are some pics Most have the Rail, but I took it off

Whats there not to like???????? It's a 1911 in S/A.

Like I said earlier, I won't be able to take it to the range till next week. I might change out the front for a fiber optic. Most likely a Dawson
