CC in Walnut Street Theater
Ugh...the wife bought tickets to musical. Lucky me. ;-)
Does anyone know about CC at the Walnut Street Theater in Philly? Metal detectors? Posted signs? Or good to go?
Fyi....I have my LTC.
Thanks in advance!

Re: CC in Walnut Street Theater
I can tell you that from my standpoint that it's not always about my final destination that makes me carry a firearm, but the process of getting there and back that worries me. The sanctity of a musical in a popular theater doesn't provide the security that I wish to have when the show is over and walking back to my vehicle parked in some parking lot.
There are other things in the world going on besides what goes on in the theater. As we see from today's accounts, sick and demented people choose to act ANYWHERE and at any time of the day. Thinking you are secure and nothing is going to happen simply because it is daylight outside or you are in a gun restricted zone or building is nothing more than being an ostrich with it's head buried in the sand.

Re: CC in Walnut Street Theater
Any update on this? I am going there this week and I want to make sure I am able to CC, especially since there was a flash mob not too far this past weekend. Any help would be appreciated.

I CCed at the Kimmel Center a few years ago. The other area theaters shouldn't be a problem.
