You can open carry in a car in DE, as long as it's visible, like on the passenger seat or dash.

eh I know. But I'd just box it and be done till I hit the VA/PA lines. I make it a point to only stop at red lights in MD.

Are you sure that's how Marylanders do it? Wouldn't want you sticking out like a sore thumb, would we?

I don't know about you guys but this is one of those rules amongst states I'd like to be interstate or at a federal level. Of course I'm also in favor of a Switzerland style set up where people do like at least 2 years of military service and are required to own a rifle that was given to them while they were in the service.

We could trade Philly for Sussex county NJ. I bet we would then be a red state. LOL!

Uhm, no. I like being able to go to a lot of world class restaurants and traditional family favorite spots while enjoying my rights as an American. No way in hell does NJ deserve to ruin that for me. I'd have to essentially give up my wife's family and I don't think she'd like that.

That's a nasty lake comes storm time. Tell my fellow mariners, "Oh, it's only a lake," the next time they're out there battling the elements with 10-15 foot waves and gale force winds. "It's only a lake" has more vessels sitting at it bottom than any of the other Great Lakes.

You want to go to the beach and still be in Pennsylvania? This is it.

Or, we could muster the state militia and reclaim the lower three counties.

But it is so far north and not as cool as Virginia Beach or the outer banks in NC. Ocean City is nice too.

At this time of year, and even more so next month, it'll be way cooler than Virginia Beach or the Outer Banks. Of course, "cool" has multiple meanings.
