Default What pistol for ultra concealment?

What I am after probably does not exist. I need something that I can make disappear in dress pants and a button up shirt tucked in. I have tried the lc9 and it did not work. In a pocket or in a cross breed style holster. I am thinking maybe a micro eagle in pocket but have not tried one. I have really large hands which ads a challenge. H ave tried j frames and they are great but don't hide as well as I need. Please no 22 or 32 cal stuff.

While it is not PRIME, ankle carry has a time and place for me.
Have you considered it? I do it from time to time with both a J frame and a Glock 27.

LCP or similar, front pocket holster, tuckable iwb, Smartcarry, or ankle.

I have tried ankle carry. It just does not work well for me. A few different holsters all move around too much for my taste. That and I drive stick in traffic a lot.

I was staying away from the lcp as its hard for me to hold. Hand size plays a big role here. I should ad that while I am not rich I am also not really concerned with price. I feel spending big bucks on something that may save my life to be a non issue.

    Try a Sig P238? Maybe a Kahr P380 or PM9/CM9.

You're kinda stretching here because small guns typically aren't designed for large hands.

Ever think about a lightweight shoulder holster under the shirt? You could easily hide a J frame in your armpit. Bonus points for scandium.

That Micro Eagle might work, Chemical had one, perhaps he'll be along.

Sometimes how you carry can be as important as what you carry.

I too have extra large hands. You know what they say, "Large hands, hard time finding a gun that fits....". Seriously though, I have been in your position. If you find the Holy Grail of concealment pistols for guys with large hands let me know. While every situation is not optimal, sometimes you have to either sacrifice comfort or grip for certain levels of dress.

I was gonna say the P238 as well. Either pocket holster or ankle holster, you can't go wrong with a miniature "1911“. Maybe a 938 if 380 isn't enough punch for you. Sig Sauer makes AMAZING firearms.

It may depend on the holster. I have a desantis holster for a p3at that makes the grip a little more distinct. However, I have found that it is probably only distinct to me because I know it is there. I find that firearms owners assume that somewhat bulky objects in pockets 'must' be guns(!). Needless to say, I found a holster on ebay that extends over the grip as well, which I like and looks like a wallet or even a cell phone/case. I would think that an lc9 would work almost as well as its 380 counterpart, assuming the pants are not too tight.
    ...and they have a plan...

There are a crapload of pocket .380acp's out these days..

    Kel-Tec
    S&W
    Ruger
    Taurus
    Sig

Hell, some of the pocket 9mm's are very close to the same size as the .380's.
