Re: Taxidermist
I never loaded the software to post pic, on forums, now would be a good time to figure it out. I had a very nice 7 point mounted in Delaware about 15 years ago, Heavy beam with a 22 inch spread. I believe it was $300.00 then for a shoulder mount. The prices I am getting now are $425.00 on the low side and one guy said $500.00. I want a nice job, I just don’t want to pay more than I need to right before Christmas.

Re: Taxidermist
I took the Deer to Frank Buxton in Hunker Pa. I did not meet Mr. Buxton but His wife was very nice and helpful , She showed me some of his work and the price was vary reasonable $375.00 for a shoulder mount. She said I should get it back in late summer. Hopefully I will be able to post pic,s by then and let everyone know how it turned out.

Re: Taxidermist
Check out First Choice Taxidermy. The owner is Scott Raviart - 724-523-6872. He did work for me a few years ago. I know several guys that use him.
He is about 25 minutes from you, right off of Toll 66.
BTW - congratulations!Last edited by 2dogs; January 2nd, 2013 at 09:20 PM.
