I suggest you go to several shops and look at their work and then decide, I wouldnt go get a tattoo or other artwork from someone cause 1 guy on the internet said they were good. That said my buddy goes to http://www.hutchstaxidermy.com/

I never loaded the software to post pic, on forums, now would be a good time to figure it out. I had a very nice 7 point mounted in Delaware about 15 years ago, Heavy beam with a 22 inch spread. I believe it was $300.00 then for a shoulder mount. The prices I am getting now are $425.00 on the low side and one guy said $500.00. I want a nice job, I just don’t want to pay more than I need to right before Christmas.

I took the Deer to Frank Buxton in Hunker Pa. I did not meet Mr. Buxton but His wife was very nice and helpful , She showed me some of his work and the price was vary reasonable $375.00 for a shoulder mount. She said I should get it back in late summer. Hopefully I will be able to post pic,s by then and let everyone know how it turned out.

dannnnggg..yea that is a steal....defineately post pictures so everyone can see what a 300 dollar mount looks like because i will drive the extra distance to save the extra 200 if its worth it and im sure alot of other people would to.

Check out First Choice Taxidermy. The owner is Scott Raviart - 724-523-6872. He did work for me a few years ago. I know several guys that use him.

He is about 25 minutes from you, right off of Toll 66.

    BTW - congratulations!
