LTCF and Driver's License Address

When applying for an LTCF, does your driver's license have to have your current address? From what I've read, the answer is yes... But I recently moved to a new address and it is taking forever to get my updated driver's license with my new address in the mail (my new address is already updated online with the state of PA). I'm wondering if there is any way to apply for the LTCF now, or if I have to wait until my new driver's license arrives in the mail?

When I moved, I did a change of address online. I printed out the change, ins't that good enough for the sheriff ?

Did that work for your sheriff? I should probably just call the sheriff's office and find out, but I thought I would ask here first.

I hate carrying my drivers license, my temporary yellow paper card for my address update and my LTCF with me.

I know there is at least 1 state that has your carry license info right on your driver license... maybe as an endorsement? I can't recall which state that is, but I read about it.

I know in Northampton county the sheriff will mail your ccw to the address on your license.

Thanks for the information! It sounds like I should just wait until my new driver's license comes in the mail. That will reduce the chance of errors, like the sheriff mailing the LTCF to my old address, etc. Now, back to checking the mailbox...
