Re: Pillar/Glass Bedding Gunsmith in Bucks Co
Sean Read at CDI a call 215-996-1603
John Robinson at Classic Pistol is at 1301 Industrial Blvd in Southampton, Lower Bucks County
I have used John for a couple of pillar bedding jobs many years ago at his own gunshop that was in a office park. He did good work but was forever backed up. Average turn time for the two rifles done about a year apart was 3 months. FWIW, they were Ruger target models and utilized the strange 45 degree mounting system which likely caused him some trouble which is why I used a gunsmith. I have done several of my own guns which have normal stock to action screws and it was a quick couple of hours, mostly to do the taping and masking of the stock to prevent problems from oozing epoxy.
As far as Sean Read is concerned I have never used him but his name comes up everytime someone has this question and no one ever seems to say a bad word about him....
