    Default springfield micro compact question

My pistol is at SA for some custom work buy it seems like SA doesn't know their own gun

the custom shop told me there's two type of crowning for the barrel, there's the standard and then there's the 11 degree, can some one here show me the difference

And then I wanted the front strap checkered but I want it the same lpi as the rear but she doesn't know what the rear is, does anyone here know if its 20 or 30lpi

I'm losing my patience with these people at SA, I'm going to ask to speak to someone different tomorrow but wanted to see if I can get some info here

    Thanks

    11 degree http://www.triggerwork.net/crown.html

    standard crown http://media.photobucket.com/image/r...t_DSCN9642.jpg

Tell the girl if she answers again to have them match what is already on it. No matter what it is on the back, I like the feel of 25 on the front, and would take 20 over 30. If you have tender skin, go with the 30, IMPO.

BCM and Glock...for a bigger pile of 'cold dead hands' brass.

Forgot to put this in previous post. I don't know. Have them measure it for you so you can decide if you want to stay with 30 if that is what it is. Every picture I see of a stock gun looks like it is 30.

Yeah I'm going to get 30, now is there any major difference between 11 degree and standard, standard doesn't seem like much of a crown at all

    Thanks

I couldn't come up with very much as I am sharing this rig with twin 18 year old facebook junkies. Notice on the first link I posted there is a bevel around the muzzle tip and on the second link, there is no bevel. Here is a 45 degree crown: http://www.google.com/imgres?um=1&hl...r:46,s:0,i:229
