m&p shield owners -- night sight help
Hey all.
I just ordered Trijicon HD night sights for my shield. I was wondering if any of you have experience replacing the stock Shield sights? Did you use a punch or a sight pusher?
I have done Glock sights with a vice and punches in the past, but never on a s&w m&p gun of any kind. I would really appreciate any info or tricks or hints that would make installing these sights easier.
*general posts that say "always use a sight pusher on all guns always, all the time, no matter what..." are not needed. I will invest in a sight pusher if I need to, but am really trying to hold off on that until later if possible. I am looking for 1st hand experience with this particular weapon (m&p shield)
Thanks. The Beauty of the 2nd Amendment is that it will not be needed until they try to take it.

Take it to a LGS if you're worried.

LGS want $45 to install the sights. that is pushing the price of a sight pusher.
