In the article, it says that under the proposed law, the out of state carrier would abide by his home states gun laws while in the state he's visiting. Something about that just seems flat out wrong. I've never seen a national carry bill that said that. It was always the opposite. Did the reporter make a mistake?

Not sure but will lead to a ton of problems if so. The police have enough trouble knowing the laws of their home state much less the laws of other states. If true I foresee a cluster Fuck of civil rights violations for people when they visit other states.

A mistake? Probably not. An opponent of the bill probably told him that. But yes, it is "flat out wrong."

This woman is going to be a PITA.
Politicians who fear the people seek to disarm them.

Did the Senate schedule a vote yet or is Harry Reid going to let it die?

Guarantee it will miss by one vote. However I'm more concerned about anything that passes the senate. Nothing can be good that comes out of there. I think it would be a way for a back door registration and eventually another way to tax firearms owners.
