I just took a look at their web site http://www.dcnr.state.pa.us/statepar...mixon/#hunting (scroll down once you hit this link) and it doesn't say anything about any "special hunting" on Sundays.

    Don't you know?!

-We never had Sunday hunting, why do we need it now?
-The poor deer need a day of "rest"
-Blood will run in the streets
and lastly; (my personal favorite) Sunday hunting is an abomination before God.

    Or there's my personal plea....

I live in a very active hunting area, even have a select trusted few hunt my own property (I don't currently hunt). And during hunting season this area can sound like a bloody warzone! Seriously, there are days when I wake up thinking I'm sitting outside Hunt's Point Market in NYC again! C'mon guys, give me Sunday, at least....You can happily blast anything that squeeks in the trees the rest of the week, but Sunday is the one day I get to sleep in......

Hunting (gun) lasts but a short time here in pa.
For those of us with limited time, Sunday is another chance to put something in the freezer.
Perhaps it's time to sell that country property and get a nice urban condo, I'm just sayin'.

Never...I would rather chew my way through a ground glass sandwich than live in an urban area. Perhaps a later start time on Sunday? (See, I can be open to compromise)

I could live with a delayed start time.
I would still prefer you took a nice quiet condo, though.

Never gonna get me into no condo no how. How about 8:30-9:00 am till sundown? That way I get to sleep in, and you get plenty of daylight time to hunt.

Yes, I consider 8:30 as sleeping in. Back when I was driving OTR, my normal wakeup times were closer to 3:00am. 2:00am if I had to get into NYC for a morning delivery.

P.S. My time in NYC and every other major city in the country is WHY I will never live in an urban setting. I hate, loathe, and despise the whole idea of living in cities. I would much rather drive in, see what I want to see, and leave.

It helps that I'm about 1.5 hours drive out of Pittsburgh, and less than 40 minutes from Erie if I absolutely NEED to go into a city. Fortunately for me, I've managed to avoid the cities for anything other than work (trucking related) for the last four years....

Aw, come on. Admit it. You'd be out there the same as the rest of us if they legalized Sunday hunting .

They opened the liquor stores on Sunday. Why can't I hunt on Sunday again?
