If you had your choice...
Just for fun. If you could pick any 1911 type pistol, regardless of price, and it'd be given you, which one would you choose?
My lotto winner, dream 1911 is the Dan Wesson Titan. This is a gun I know I would never purchase unless I was comped a bunch of $$$, somehow. It is not the most expensive 1911 type out there, nor is it the most accurate, but I think it is one of the most complete. Awesome.BCM and Glock...for a bigger pile of 'cold dead hands' brass.

I'd have to do some research first but I'd be happy with any gifted 1911

Joe Chambers WMG. This one has three barrels. 1.40" for 10 shots at 50 yards. Not too shabby..............

Re: If you had your choice...
I already own it. Series 70 Gold Cup National Match with a "once over" by a competent gunsmith. If someone was going to give me another, I would probably get a compact in 9mm or 38super just to have something different.
