    Default Any Sig C3 owners?

OK so I have a hankerin for a 1911. I have looked at many and came to the conclusion. A Sig C3 fits the bill really nice...I like the 4.25 barrel the officers grip, they two tone and rosewood grips. It just feels right in the paw, well balanced and scaled correctly.

I looked at the SA trophy match as well but didnt care for a fullsize. Also looked at the remington enhanced, and a SA TRP.

So any C3 owners care to post some pics and give some feedback on your C3. Any problems with it, likes, dislikes etc.

I don't have a picture on this computer to send. How ever what is there to dislike?

It has just the right size barell to make it accurate, it has the officer size grip for conceallability, the quality is great, its a sig after all, the looks are great and it is a .45 acp.

I think it is a very hard to beat carry gun.

I own one and have carried it for a while and it is really easy to carry, it is also extremely accurate.

    I strongly reccomend it.

Picked this up two weeks ago. Got around 200 rounds through it with no complaints. A variety of ammo. One loading jam on Winchester hollow points. I carry Hornaday Critical Defense in all my carries. No issues with them. I carry it everywhere now. Mine is the Crimson Trace model. I have been dead set against lasers for years & will never recommend as a primary weapon but, after an incident behind our barn a few weeks ago with some opossums, my LC9 & a very badly charged spot light, I buckled to pressure & bought this one with the laser.

Just a P.S. here, the opossum urine is toxic to horses & they will get in to hay & bed & pee. Therefore, they are never welcome on the farm.

Actually there is only one thing I think Sig should have done. But it is a super minor thing, The C3 on the slide...Wish it was a roll mark/stamp, But still a awsome piece of firearm goodness.

When I carry (in the land of the free), I carry a Sig RCS - the Custom Shop version of the C3. Mine has run flawlessly and I find the CCO configuration on an alloy frame to be the perfect carry piece. Enjoy.

Always wanted a C3. Will be my next 1911 for sure. If I could find a good price I would probably buy it before the XDS, which is first on my list right now.

For those close, I float between a place on Laurel Mountain just outside Bakersville, PA & a farm in Butler county. Any one is welcome to shoot what I've got if it will help. My email is in my profile. Happy (firearm) hunting.

No, it's a Sparks VM II in horsehide with shark trim. The belt is by The Beltman. I've found for me that the VM II is the most comfortable IWB rig out there, regardless what I'm carrying. I have four of them.

Mullet, wish you were closer..Would love to test drive the C3. I have looked at the version you have , just wish crimson could match the rosewood color on the grips.

Pizza Bob, nice rig set up. What knife is that? love the damascus blades.
