This should be under the ammo & reloading. I would recommend obtaining one or two reloading books. Or check out powder manufactur sites. Sometimes they give load data.

Hornady Handbook 8th edition lists a charge of 5.0 Bullseye as a starting load with a velocity of 800 fps. The max charge liisted is 5.7 grains of Bullseye for a velocity of 900 fps. I use 5.4 Bullseye for a Velocity of 850 fps as my practice load. Alliant powder's web site has a lot of good information on it.

I have two books just not the hornady 8th Ed
I found a good data and Alliant powder website doesn't state the exact specs for the bullet named on post #1 .
I found a good load and tested both at 5.2gr and 5.5 both were good we'll balanced in my h&k and Glocks .
    Thanks for the info

I've upped on the powder from 5.5gr to 5.6 .
Max charge is at 5.7 .
    Will see the difference
