first range day with Taurus pt111 millennium pro duo tone
Just a quick review of my first range trip to WCRC with my new Taurus pt111 mil pro in duo tone. I bought it from Buds gun shop online, $336 with free shipping and had it sent to Dave at Presque Isle Gun Shop. $25 for the transfer/paperwork and I was out the door. I stopped at WCRC after work and put 150rds thru it, no ftf, no fte, no jams or issues at all! I shot a 100 rd box of federal champion fmj 115gr rn and they were very accurate from about 10yds. I also shot 50rds of federal classic hi shok jhp 115gr with different results. They were all low and left 4-6 inches. Frustrating, but it looks like I will be buying more federal 100rd value packs from WM for $20. For carry ammo I am going to try Hornady critical defense and Winchester PDX1 and see which if either will run better/more accurate.

Nice. Maybe I will see you at WCRC. Just an FYI, the first set of pistol boards is 7 yards and the second is 15. The last set is 25.
Happy Shooting,
Jules
