10/22 suppressed with ammo review
I finally received my 10/22 back, so yesterday and today, I took her out. I got different results compared to the Ruger MKIII.
Weapon
Ruger 10/22
Suppressor
Gem Tech Outback II
Ammo
Winchester Dynapoints
Wolf MT
Aguila SE
CCI Subsonic
Scope
Trijicon 3x9 Accupoint
I read that 10/22's might have issues with cycling subsonic ammo along with suppressors. I had some issues with the rifle not cycling the ammo...it wasn't all the time, but I hope that cleaning the rifle and lubing it will help resolve the issue. I also had some mag issues at the range, which I fixed. Diego and his misses were pretty impressed with the sound.
The 10/22 preferred the Wolf MT ammo over all others. The Aguila SE shot very well too...I was a bit disappointed with CCI Subsonic because I heard that CCI Subsonic was suppose to be accurate. CCI isn't terrible, but from what I've read...I thought it would perform better.
I liked how the Gem Tech was almost the same thickness compared to the 10/22 barrel. I will be either painting the stock or buying a Christie's stock or an Evolution stock. In any case...the rifle needs some color...seeing how black is so BORING IMO.

Talk about a small world...pretty funny.
Dan, you won't be disappointed in a 22 can. I might look into a Savage heavy barrel...to see how quiet it can truly be with a bolt action.
