Re: Possible self defense shooting Lawrence County
This is what I've been pointing out for years, in the eyes of the system, the guy with the gun is probably the bad guy.
Doesn't matter who called 911 afterwards; guns are evil, shooting is bad, and you could shoot a guy while you're bleeding from the skull and he's kneeling on you and smashing your head into the concrete, and telling you in no uncertain terms "you gonna die tonight", and the media will still refer to poor little Treyvon as "the victim".Attorney Phil Kline, AKA gunlawyer001@gmail.com

Re: Possible self defense shooting Lawrence County
i didn't see anything about if the shooter was under the influence ?
if so that could be a factor in his arrest and charges being filed.Ecclesiastes 10:2 ...........

Re: Possible self defense shooting Lawrence County
It is such a shame that you have to be on the edge of your own life to defend it and you still are seen as the bad guy.
I hope this guy is released soon and everything turns out ok for him

Re: Possible self defense shooting Lawrence County
It's obviously self defense and legal because of the castle doctrine, yet they're charging him for premeditated murder? Where the hell do they see premeditation in that? He wasn't even the aggressor!
