Had a question to two. How thick is the AR500? What is it rated to withstand? Are you making them is sizes like S,M,L,XL or just a standard one size fits most?

I am putting together another group buy for some armored steel plates. We sold over 60 sets in the last GB. These steel plates have an additional coating to capture any bullet fragments and jacket. The sets are offered with side plates as an option. The front and back plates are contoured, as well as, the side plates.

We are also offering a custom made plate carrier for these specific plates. It fits like a charm and are affordable.

Any interst, please post up on this thread.

We are looking to offer 100 sets in this next GB.

I was planning a similar GB, but I didn't have enough interest.

    Are they 1/2"?

    Interested.

Want some more details though as others have said.

    To previous poster,
Yes, that was what we had in our vests in the military before we got the new SAPPI plates.

The front and back plate, combined weight is 14 lbs.

They are roughly 10x12 and have contoured cuts for ease of movement and proper buttstock placement.

I have pics and video for theplates. Actual shots taken on the plates and the after effect demonstrated.

At this point I am gauging interest.

The front and back plate with the liner coating will run roughly 150. Side plates add 25. If you want an uncoated front and back set they are 100.00

I will put the Group buy details up here once I get it set up on the other board. It won't be for a week or so.
