The method of operation is to private message you and tell you that you should contact such 'n such person at a given email address.

Please report the private messages. Staff will ban the offender, and I will implement an IP ban. Unfortunately these scammers are using VPN/proxy services, which may mean your VPN/proxy may be blocked.
Attention! About VPN's and foreign IP addresses.

When signing up, do so from a US based Internet Service Provider. Turn off any VPN/safe-browsing feature. Failure to do so will result with your new account denied.

If you run into a IP ban afterwards as a member, again - turn off your VPN or switch servers. We do not ban legit Internet Service Providers from the USA(exception for certain individual IP addresses). Free VPN's tend to get banned too. We try not to ban legit subscription VPN services, but they rarely label their IP blocks correctly.

If you run into an IP ban, it likely wasn't you.

Question for Sig owners

Is there really any difference in the newer Sig 2022 vs the Sig 229? I am looking to get a Sig in .40, and I am noticing the 2022 is several hundred dollars cheaper (even though it is the newer and latest model line?), and seems to be pretty much the same as the 229 as far as length, weight, function, etc...

UPDATE: after some more digging, Is the price difference because the 2022 is a polymer frame where the 229 is not?

Which do you prefer? I am leaning towards the 2022 because of the price. Any reason to reconsider? I have no issues with a Polymer framed gun.
