Canadian Colts w/3 digit serial#?
Went on a window shopping spree at Leesport Gunshow today and found some Colt ARs that were new and around $1100 while 2 tables away I found some Colts that looked like they were shot to shit and still at $1100 I asked why and the vendor told me they were Canadian and had 3 digit serial 3s (like...0378) Can someone explain this to me?

Colt has a Canadian manufacturing division (Diemaco). Colt's usually hover around $1000 even used/well loved. Not because of the roll mark, but because they are hard use weapons capable of a lifetime of service.

Yeah get it new. You wont regret your purchase, they are great guns. LE or SP6920 (standard 16") or 6720 ( lightweight) are the models you are looking for. Both would serve well in the defensive role.
