Pittsburgh anti-military march
Didn't think that this really fit in the other forums.
For your daily dose of comedy:

Hmm.....wackaloons trying to cage trained military personeel. The image is quite amusing.
Also, how typically dishonest. They're going to start the march at 6:30pm....after the recruiters have gone home for the day.“War is an ugly thing, but not the ugliest of things. The decayed and degraded state of moral and patriotic feeling which thinks that nothing is worth war is much worse.” - John Stuart Mill

Re: Pittsburg anti-military march
Ordinarily I would defend anti-military protests as an exercise in freedom of speech, but after the following paragraph in the article, I must agree with you regarding the mental state of the organizers and/or author of the article.
On Wednesday, March 19, POG will be holding a torch-lit march to a modern day castle of abominations—our local military recruiting station. If the station remains open, we intend to evict it and everything inside of it, occupy the location, and transform it into something useful for the community. We'll also be bringing a movable cage in which to confine military recruiters until they no longer pose a danger to our friends and neighbors. Of course, the station may be closed and recruiters may flee or hide behind the police apparatus that enables the war to continue....

Re: Pittsburgh anti-military march
While I have no love for recruiters, (specifically, the jackass the I had) I think threatening to cage active military members might not go over well. Even if you disagree with the war, that is no reason to crap on someone doing their job.

Re: Pittsburgh anti-military march
Bunch of douches. So they're going to take it over, but just happen to be showing up when it's closed?
"Grrrrr, we're mad and taking this place over!"
<tugs on locked door>
"Oh, it's closed, let's just go home."

Re: Pittsburgh anti-military march
If your going to cage a recruiter you better bring a lot of people because he makes a phone call and there will be a LOT of khaki clad people there and they may be carrying guns

Re: Pittsburgh anti-military march
You need to read further down the page...
They say they weren't actually going to "cage" anyone, or "take over" the recruiting office.
I guess they just like to verbally fantasize about these things?
I think they are the same worthless turds who planned on throwing pies in the recruiters faces last year. (They actually had pies with them)
I'm having a good day, so I'm not going to say anything more about these assholes.
I called to check my ZIP CODE!....DY-NO-MITE!!!
